One of a kind in the region, the home of Ina | Peñafrancia Basilica

It is no secret that Naga City’s roots in Catholicism run deep in every part of the metropolis. Whatever your orientation may be, you are aware of what makes the city tick, and what it stands for when it comes to one of the biggest Marian celebrations held in the city: the Peñafrancia Festival. And with the festivities starting to kick off once again, it’s always a good time to get reacquainted with one of the many Churches in the city. In particular, among locals, the Minor Basilica of Our Lady of Peñafrancia, or just the Basilica Minore.

Order of Demolay conducts courtesy visit

Mayor Nelson S. Legacion warmly welcomed the visit of the Order of Demolay represented by Master Councilor Brian Ragrario, Senior Councilor Neil Piolino and its senior members Mr. John Paul Buendia and Mr. Francisco Rico Raquitico for a partnership conference on July 15, 2022 at CMO Conference Room.

Naga establishes resilience council

A body that will assess risk, prevent or reduce impacts of disaster and ensure development continuity was established by the city government of Naga thru the issuance of an executive order signed by Mayor Nelson Legacion on July 1, this year.
