AN ORDINANCE FURTHER AMENDING CERTAIN SECTION OF ORDINANCE NO. 93-049, S. 1993, OTHERWISE KNOWN AS THE “TRANSPORT & TRAFFIC CODE OF NAGA CITY”, AS AMENDED BY ORDINANCE NOS. 2001-086 AND 2002-027, BY GRANTING THE ABELLA PADYAK OPERATORS AND DRIVERS ASSOCIATION (APODA) ADDITIONAL ONE HUNDRED (100) UNITS OF PADYAK FOR HIRE TAKEN FROM THE MEMBERS OF THE BUHAY PADYAK ORGANIZATION (BPO), SUBJECT TO CERTAIN CONDITIONS:

Be it ordained by the Sangguniang Panlungsod of the City of Naga, that:

SECTION 1. Ordinance No. 93-049, s. 1993, otherwise known as the “Transport & Traffic Code of Naga City”, as amended by Ordinance Nos. 2001-086 and 2002-027, is hereby further amended by granting the Abella Padyak Operators and Drivers Association (APODA) additional One Hundred (100) units of Padyak for Hire taken from the members of the Buhay Padyak Organization (BPO), with the following conditions:

a. The traffic condition at the intersection of Barangay Abella and J. Hernandez Avenue shall not be impeded by padyak at all times;
b. Traffic supervisor from the office of Barangay Abella shall be responsible and shall always be present to manage the traffic flow and maintain order in the padyak passengers waiting area. They shall be assisted by PSO and PNP when needed.

SECTION 2. This ordinance shall take effect upon its approval and publication in a newspaper of local circulation.
