  • Only individuals aged 18 and above may operate an ebike
  • Units purchased before the ordinance’s effectivity must be registered within 30 days
• Dealer Responsibilities:
  • Mandatory reporting of ebike specifications and photos before releasing units to buyers
  • Recognition program for compliant dealers
• Use of Ebikes:
  • Allowed on designated bike lanes and walkways
  • Extended use allowed on other roads during emergencies or special community activities
  • Prohibited as public utility vehicles
• Parking & Infrastructure:
  • Must comply with existing bike/motorcycle parking rules under Ordinance No. 2008-068
  • City to develop charging stations and promote awareness through events like Bicycle Day
