AN ORDINANCE GRANTING REPRIEVE TO ALL OPERATORS OF TRIMOBILE-FOR-HIRE IN THE CITY OF NAGA WHOSE FRANCHISE AND/OR MAYOR’S PERMIT HAVE EXPIRED SINCE 2020, 2021, OR 2022, GIVING THEM UNTIL DECEMBER 31, 2023 TO RENEW THE SAME, AMENDING FOR THE PURPOSE ORDINANCE NO. 2023-046
Grants a reprieve period until December 31, 2023 to all trimobile-for-hire operators in Naga City whose franchise and/or Mayor’s Permit expired in 2020, 2021, or 2022. During this window, eligible operators can renew without losing their franchise rights, provided they pay the required fees and surcharges.

AN ORDINANCE GRANTING REPRIEVE TO ALL OPERATORS OF TRIMOBILE-FOR-HIRE IN THE CITY OF NAGA WHOSE FRANCHISE AND/OR MAYOR’S PERMIT HAVE EXPIRED SINCE 2020, 2021 OR 2022, GIVING THEM UNTIL DECEMBER 31, 2023 TO RENEW THE SAME, AMENDING FOR THE PURPOSE ORDINANCE NO. 2023-046:-

Be it ordained by the Sangguniang Panlungsod of the City of Naga, that:
SECTION 1. The operators of Trimobile-for-hire in the City of Naga whose franchise and/or Mayor’s Permit have expired since 2020, 2021 or 2022, are hereby given until December 31, 2023 to complete process of renewal of the same, subject to payment of the necessary fees, charges and surcharges with the different agencies and offices.
Failure to avail of this reprieve period until December 31, 2023, shall result to permanent cancellation and forfeiture of their franchise without further action from the Sangguniang Panlungsod and the Trimobile Task force.
SECTION 2. The Trimobile Task Force (TTF) is hereby mandated to prepare the list of those qualified operators and provide copies thereof to the Sangguniang Panlungsod through the Committee on Transport for their reference; and the City Events, Protocol and Public Information Office (CEPPIO) is hereby mandated to disseminate the same to the public.
SECTION 3. This ordinance shall take effect upon its approval and publication in the local newspaper of general circulation and posting in the city government bulletin boards.
