AN ORDINANCE GRANTING A 60-DAY REPRIEVE FROM PAYMENT OF RENTAL FEES TO THE STALL HOLDERS ON THE GROUND FLOOR AND A 15-DAY REPRIEVE TO THE STALL HOLDERS ON THE SECOND AND THIRD FLOORS OF THE  PEOPLE’S MALL IN THE LIGHT OF THE SUBSTANTIAL DAMAGE, DISRUPTION, AND SEVERE FLOODING CAUSED BY TROPICAL STORM KRISTINE

Highlights

In response to the severe flooding caused by Tropical Storm Kristine, this ordinance provides financial relief to vendors at the Naga City People’s Mall (NCPM). It offers:

ORDINANCE NO. 2024-138

AN ORDINANCE GRANTING A 60-DAY REPRIEVE FROM PAYMENT OF RENTAL FEES TO THE STALL HOLDERS ON THE GROUND FLOOR AND A 15-DAY REPRIEVE TO THE STALL HOLDERS ON THE SECOND AND THIRD FLOORS OF THE NAGA CITY PEOPLE’S MALL IN THE LIGHT OF THE SUBSTANTIAL DAMAGE, DISRUPTION, AND SEVERE FLOODING CAUSED BY TROPICAL STORM KRISTINE:

On joint and collective motion

Be it ordained by the Sangguniang Panlungsod of Naga, that:

SECTION 1. GRANT OF REPRIEVE. A reprieved from payment of rental fees is hereby granted to the following stallholders at the Naga City People’s Mall in the light of the substantial damage, disruption, and severe flooding caused by Tropical Storm Kristine, to wit:

  1. A 60-day reprieve for stallholders on the ground floor from November to December 2024;

  2. A 15-day reprieve for stallholders on the second and third floors from November 1 to 15, 2024;

SECTION 2. EFFECTIVITY. This ordinance shall take effect upon its approval.

ENACTED: November 19, 2024

WE HEREBY CERTIFY to the correctness of the foregoing ordinances.
