AN ORDINANCE FURTHER AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. 2000-071, BY RECLASSIFYING THE CITY’S TWO (2) PROPERTIES IN BARANGAY BALATAS, THIS CITY, WITH A TOTAL LAND AREA OF SEVENTY THOUSAND FORTY-EIGHT (74,048) SQUARE METERS FROM AGRICULTURAL TO INSTITUTIONAL USE NECESSARY IN THE DEVELOPMENT OF BALATAS GOVERNMENT CLUSTERS 1 AND 2 WHERE THE DIFFERENT CITY FACILITIES WILL BE ESTABLISHED
This ordinance reclassifies two city-owned properties in Barangay Balatas, with a total land area of 74,048 square meters, from agricultural to institutional use. The purpose is to enable the development of Balatas Government Clusters 1 and 2, where various Naga City government facilities will be consolidated and constructed.
The reclassification forms part of the city’s long-term urban infrastructure strategy to enhance service delivery, spatial efficiency, and public accessibility through centralized civic facilities.

On joint and collective motion
Be it ordained by the Sangguniang Panlungsod of Naga, that:
SECTION 1. – Ordinance No. 2000-071 is hereby further amended, by reclassifying the city’s two (2) properties in Barangay Balatas, this city, with a total land area of Seventy Thousand Forty-Eight (74,048) square meters from Agricultural to Institutional Use necessary in the development of Balatas Government Clusters 1 and 2 where the different city facilities will be established;
SECTION 2. This ordinance shall take effect upon its approval.
