ORDINANCE NO. 2020-015

AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTION 4 OF ORDINANCE NO. 2017-002, ENTITLED: “AN ORDINANCE ESTABLISHING THE ANNUAL REWARD SYSTEM FOR BEST PERFORMING BARANGAY HEALTH CENTERS IN THE CITY OF NAGA, AND APPROPRIATING NECESSARY FUNDS THEREOF AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES”, BY INCREASING THE CASH PRIZES AND ADDING MORE CATEGORIES FOR AWARDING.

Highlights

Amends the original Barangay Health Center incentive ordinance to:

  • Increase the First Place prize to ₱100,000 (plus plaque).
  • Add special categories, each with additional monetary awards, including:
    • Most Innovative BHS: ₱20,000
    • Most Active Barangay Kagawad in Health Programs: ₱10,000
    • High Program Implementors in EPI, MCH, NTP, Blood Donation: ₱10,000 each
    • Outstanding Midwife: ₱20,000
    • Adolescent-Friendly BHS and Outstanding BHW: ₱10,000 each
  • Total additional prize fund: ₱110,000 across categories.
  • Aims to further incentivize excellence and innovation in community health service delivery.
