AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTION 6 OF ORDINANCE NO. 2020-082, ENTITLED: “AN ORDINANCE ADOPTING THE COVID-19 CONTAINMENT PROJECT, HARNESSING BARANGAY VOLUNTEER FRONTLINE WORKERS, AUTHORIZING THE GRANT OF HONORARIUM, AND PROVIDING FUNDS FOR THE PURPOSE”, BY RECTIFYING THE RATES FOR CHIEF TANOD, BARANGAY NUTRITION SCHOLARS AND BARANGAY SERVICE POINT OFFICERS
Summary: Ordinance No. 2020-109, enacted on November 24, 2020, amends Section 6 of Ordinance No. 2020-082 to correct the monthly honorarium rates for various barangay volunteer frontline workers involved in the COVID-19 Containment Project. The revised rates include P4,500.00 for Barangay Nutrition Scholars, P3,300.00 for Barangay Service Point Officers, and P2,300.00 for Chief Tanods. The honoraria for other volunteers, such as Barangay Health Workers, Supplemental Feeding Volunteers, Barangay Electricians, Social Welfare Volunteers, Community Based Rehabilitation Specialists, and Barangay Health Encoders, remain as specified in the original ordinance.
