Summary: This ordinance grants a three-year franchise to Metroland-LCC Group of Companies to operate the Integrated Southbound Terminal located in Barangay Sabang, Naga City. This terminal will serve public utility jeepneys (PUJs), Filcab vans, and other similar public utility vehicles traveling southbound, south suburbs, and north suburbs (Camaligan, Camarines Sur only) that are not covered by the Central Bicol Station’s operation. The franchise, effective upon the expiration of the existing one in July 2022, is subject to the provisions of Ordinance No. 2006-044, as amended, and other pertinent city ordinances. It also includes provisions for terminal fees, restrictions on franchise transfer, adherence to environmental compliance, security, and penalties for violations.
