Naga City’s strategic location and role as the center of trade and commerce in Bicol has transformed into the primary gateway to Bicol’s many natural attractions. Home to around 50 hotels, inns, and other establishments, Naga offers a myriad of options for the most discerning traveler.
At present, two major airlines have three daily flights each to Naga. Bus companies also have daily trips to the city, using new and comfortable buses, many with their own lavatories. The trains of the Philippine National Railways have also resumed their trips to Bicol using refurbished coaches from Japan.
From Naga, travelers can visit many of Bicol’s stunning attractions from adventure parks, white-sand islands, world-class surfing spots, and eco-tourism sites.
CARAMOAN
Caramoan peninsula is an unspoiled paradise that features tropical resorts, white powder sand islands, all under the tropical sun. Frequented by many adventurous visitors, it provides a scenic backdrop for that well-deserved holiday. Guests can indulge in beach activities, island-hopping, and of course, freshly-caught seafood by the beach.
CALAGUAS
Located at the northeastern fringe of Bicol, Calaguas island is a beach-lover’s paradise. Long stretches of white sand, framed by weathered rock formations, make this an increasingly popular destination. The calm turquoise sea that seamlessly merges with the beach and coves provides plenty of room for fun under the sun.
CATANDUANES
This island province takes pride in its world-class surfing destinations. The Pacific Ocean offers huge swells, much to the delight of surfers and beach-goers alike. International surfers have recently discovered what Catanduanes has to offer and have been visiting and braving its Pacific-born waves.
