AN ORDINANCE SUSPENDING ORDINANCE NO. 2020-060, ENTITLED: “AN ORDINANCE REGULATING GROUP DRINKING OF ALCOHOL BEVERAGES, IMPOSING A TEMPORARY BAN ON GROUP DRINKING OF SUCH BEVERAGES THROUGHOUT THE ENTIRE CITY OF NAGA, IMPOSING PENALTIES FOR VIOLATIONS THEREF, AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES”
Summary: Ordinance No. 2021-021, enacted on March 9, 2021, by the Sangguniang Panlungsod of Naga, is an ordinance specifically aimed at suspending a previous regulation, Ordinance No. 2020-060. Ordinance No. 2020-060 had imposed a temporary ban on group drinking of alcoholic beverages throughout the entire City of Naga and outlined penalties for violations. With the approval of Ordinance No. 2021-021, the restrictions set forth in Ordinance No. 2020-060 are temporarily lifted. The ordinance was sponsored by Hon. Gregorio R. Abonal and certified correct by City Vice Mayor and Presiding Officer Cecilia B. Veluz-De Asis and Secretary to the Sangguniang Panlungsod Gil A. De La Torre. It was approved by City Mayor Nelson S. Legacion.
