AN ORDINANCE REVISING CITY ORDINANCE NO.S 2003-013 AND 2004-046 BY ENHANCING ENVIRONMENT MANAGEMENT AND CARE, PRESCRIBING ADMINISTRATIVE GUIDELINES THEREOF, AUTHORIZING THE GRANT AND PAYMENT OF ENVIRONMENTAL ENFORCEMENT INCENTIVES, CREATING A PAYMENT OF TRUST ACCOUNT TO COVER THE INCENTIVES, AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES
Summary: Ordinance No. 2020-065, enacted on July 21, 2020, is a comprehensive revision of previous City Ordinances (2003-013 and 2004-046) aimed at enhancing environmental management and care in Naga City. The ordinance establishes administrative guidelines for environmental protection, authorizes the grant and payment of environmental enforcement incentives, and creates a dedicated trust account to fund these incentives. It also forms a committee, chaired by the SP Committee on Environment, to ensure the proper implementation of the ordinance.
