Summary: Ordinance No. 2020-001, enacted on January 20, 2020, extends the deadline for the payment of business taxes, fees, and charges, as well as the renewal of business permits and licenses and the issuance of Mayor’s Permits. The original deadline of January 20, 2020, is extended to January 31, 2020, with no penalties or surcharges. This measure, enacted under Section 167 of Republic Act No. 7160, aims to provide financial relief to businesses in Naga City whose operations were severely impacted by Typhoon “Tisoy”.
