ORDINANCE NO. 2020-001

AN ORDINANCE EXTENDING THE DEADLINE IN THE PAYMENT OF BUSINESS TAXES, FEES AND CHARGES AND RENEWAL OF BUSINESS PERMITS AND LICENSES, AND ISSUANCE OF MAYOR’S PERMIT FROM JANUARY 20, 2020 TO JANUARY 31, 2020 WITHOUT PENALTIES OR SURCHARGES PURSUANT TO SECTION 167 OF REPUBLIC ACT NO. 7160, AS AMENDED TO GIVE RESPITE FOR BUSINESSES IN THE CITY OF NAGA WHOSE OPERATIONS WERE CONSIDERABLY HAMPERED BY TYPHONN “TISOY”: –

Be it ordained by the Sangguniang Panlungsod of Naga, that:

SECTION 1. The deadline in the payment of business taxes, fees, and charges and renewal of business permits and licenses, and issuance of mayor’s permit is hereby extended from January 20, 2020 to January 31, 2020 without penalties or surcharges pursuant to Section 167 of Republic Act No. 7160, as amended to give respite for businesses in the City of Naga whose operations were badly affected by the Typhoon “Tisoy”;

SECTION 2. This ordinance shall take effect upon its approval.

ENACTED: January 7, 2020
