AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTION 5 OF ORDINANCE NO. 2019-070, ENTITLED: “AN ORDINANCE DECLARING THE MONTH OF REBURARY OF EVERY YEAR AS THE “NAGA CITY DENTAL HEALTH MONTH” IN THE CITY OF NAGA IN LINE WITH THE NATIONWIDE OBSERVANCE OF NATIONAL DENTAL HEALTH MONTH HELD ANNUALLY IN FEBRUARY, AND APPROPRIATING FUNDS THEREFOR”, IS HEREBY AMENDED BY APPROPRIATING FIVE HUNDERD THOUSAND (P500,000.00) FOR THIS PURPOSE EFFECTIVE 2023 AND EVERY YEAR THEREAFTER

Summary: This ordinance amends Section 5 of Ordinance No. 2019-070, which previously declared February as “Naga City Dental Health Month.” The amendment specifically appropriates an annual amount of Five Hundred Thousand Pesos (P500,000.00) for the celebration and observance of the Naga City Dental Health Month, effective 2023 and every year thereafter. The ordinance mandates the Local Government Unit, its subdivisions, all 27 barangays, and relevant government agencies to celebrate and participate in activities aimed at increasing oral health awareness in the community.
