AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING THE GRANT OF ADDITIONAL HONORARIA TO BARANGAY OFFICIALS, SK OFFICIALS AND BARANGAY VOLUNTEERS IN VIEW OF THEIR IMPLEMENTATION OF THE CLEAN-UP RESTORATION ACTIVITIES OF THE CITY GOVERNMENT FOLLOWING TYPHOONS ROLLY AND ULYSSES AT A RATE EQUIVALENT TO THE HONORARIA GRANTED UNDER ORDINANCE NO. 2020-082, CHARGEABLE AGAINST THE APPROPRIATION FOR ESSENTIAL COMMUNITY SERVICES
Summary: Ordinance No. 2020-118, enacted on December 7, 2020, authorizes the provision of additional honoraria to Barangay Officials, Sangguniang Kabataan (SK) Officials, and Barangay Volunteers. This grant is intended to recognize their involvement in the clean-up and restoration activities undertaken by the City Government following the devastation caused by Typhoons Rolly and Ulysses. The additional honoraria will be disbursed at a rate equivalent to the honoraria granted under Ordinance No. 2020-082 and will be funded from the appropriation for Essential Community Services.
