Our Lady of Peñafrancia Museum

Our Lady of Peñafrancia Museum is considered as Ina’s first museum. It was said that the museum edifice was completed in 1993. The Peñafrancia Pilgrimage Foundation has collaborated with the Peñafrancia Association and established a joint management board to supervise the museum’s affairs. Several donors and contributing artists were able to make this possible.

The Our Lady of Peñafrancia Museum exhibits Ina’s mantos, crowns, aureola, and dioramas telling the story of the strong Marian devotion to Our Lady of Peñafrancia. It is the place to go to when you need to learn about the history and intricacies of how Ina came to Bicol; From Simon Vella, to the spread of the devotion of Ina in Bicol, up to the present day. It also houses the Pagoda ni Ina that is used during the Fluvial processions.
