Wazzup, October!

WAZZUP?!  Ongoing today – the Relaunch of the People’s Day at the City Hall (8:30 AM – 12:00NN and 1:00 PM – 3:00 PM at the Naga City People’s Hall). This gives every Nagueño an opportunity to directly ask quesions, give suggestions and complaints to City Mayor Son Legacion and the Social Services Cluster Heads who are also ready to assist those in need.

LAST DAY TODAY:  Best of Bicol: Tourism and Trade Fair at the SM City Naga, with some 45 exhibitors participating. The trade fair, which started October 7, is part of a series of activities for the 18th Bicol Business Month. The activity also celebrates the artistry of Bicolanos, headed by National Artists, Nora Aunor and Ricky Lee; local arts, crafts, and trades; unique tourist attractions; festivals such as the Sorsogon Kasanggayahan Festival; Bikol literature, and much more.

It’s still a busy week for the NCPC which is hosting a series of public presentations on the proposed budget of the various government offices at City Hall (still going on). Likewise, we send kudos to The Rotary Club of Naga East for Operation Ngirit Bikol 4, providing reconstructive surgery to children who are affected by cleft conditions. Also, though a bit belated, we wish to extend to all our teachers a Happy World Teachers Day (October 5)!

A lot has been happening in our Maogmang Lugar, and we look forward to more in the coming days.

Meanwhile, your iGov team is working on a more searchable website, especially when it comes to legislative measures (ordinances, resolutions) as well issuances from the office of the City Mayor (administrative orders, proclamations, and the like). Some of the pages related to this effort are in beta as we transition from mere listings to a more interactive and updated database, so readers may notice some inconveniences. We hope you understand.

We’d like to thank those who have sent us suggestions and pointed out typos and other mistakes. We welcome these as we continue to strive to keep the information contained on our website (naga.gov.ph.) as accurate as possible.   Please send us your suggestions and comments via webmaster@naga.gov.ph or info@naga.gov.ph.
