Summary: This ordinance establishes the “Naga City Council for Women” under the Office of the City Mayor. Its creation is in line with Republic Act 7192, also known as the “Women in Nation Building Act,” which recognizes women’s role in national development and ensures their fundamental equality with men before the law, providing equal rights and opportunities.
