AN ORDINANCE REQUIRING ESTABLISHMENTS AND OFFICES WITH EMPLOYEES NUMBERING AT LEAST THIRTY (30) TO PROVIDE A FACILITY WITHIN THE OFFICE PREMISES FOR THE EXCLUSIVE USE OF THEIR EMPLOYEES WHO ARE LACTATING MOTHERS, PROVIDING THE MECHANISM FOR ENFORCEMENT, AND PRESCRIBING PENALTIES FOR VIOLATIONS THEREOF

Summary: This ordinance requires all public and private offices and establishments in Naga City with at least thirty (30) employees to provide a dedicated facility within their premises for the exclusive use of lactating mothers. The ordinance is founded on principles recognizing that national strength comes from healthy citizens, proper child-rearing is enhanced by breastfeeding.
