AN ORDINANCE REQUIRING ANY PERSON, INDIVIDUAL, PARTNERSHIP OR CORPORATION TO SECURE A CERTIFICATE OF TAX CLEARANCE FROM THE OFFICE OF THE CITY TREASURER BEFORE THE ISSUANCE OF THE LICENSE TO ENGAGE AND/OR OPERATE BUSINESS WITHIN THE TERRITORIAL JURISDICTION OF THE CITY OF NAGA AND PRESCRIBING PENALTIES THEREOF:

Summary: This ordinance mandates that all stall owners within the Naga City Public Market must install signboards. These signboards must be of a uniform size (2 ft. x 4 ft.) and clearly display the trade/business name and stall number. Violators of this ordinance will face a fine of P300.00 or imprisonment not exceeding thirty (30) days, or both, at the court’s discretion. The ordinance came into effect ten (10) days after its approval.
