AN ORDINANCE SPECIFYING SPACE CAPACITY MEASURE OF ALL JEEPNEY AND BUS TERMINALS AND REQUIRING TERMINAL OPERATORS TO ISSUE TERMINAL IDENTIFICATION STICKERS TO ALL THEIR VEHICLES AND TO SUBMIT TO THE CITY MAYOR’S OFFICE AN UPDATED LIST OF JEEPNEY AND/OR BUS OWNERS/OPERATORS WITH THEIR CORRESPONDING NUMBER OF VEHICLES UTILIZING THEIR TERMINAL

Summary: This ordinance establishes regulations for jeepney and bus terminals in Naga City. It specifies a “space capacity measure” for terminals: 65 square meters per vehicle for bus/mini-bus terminals and 18 square meters per vehicle for jeepney terminals. Terminal operators are required to issue identification stickers to all vehicles utilizing their terminals, which must be displayed on the right, lower portion of the vehicle’s windshield. Operators must also submit an initial list of vehicle owners/operators and their vehicles when securing their business permit, and then provide updated lists quarterly.
