Persons with Disability Affairs Office

The Persons with Disability Affairs Office (PDAO) in Naga City is a specialized local government office dedicated to safeguarding the rights, welfare, and full societal integration of persons with disabilities (PWDs) pursuant to Republic Act 10070.

Operating as the primary advocacy and service hub for the local PWD community, the office formulates inclusive policies, manages PWD registration, and issues official identification cards and discount booklets for medical and commercial privileges.

PDAO actively collaborates with government agencies, civil society, and the private sector to enforce accessibility standards (BP 344), facilitate access to healthcare and assistive devices, offer specialized livelihood and skills training, and expand employment opportunities—ensuring a barrier-free environment where Nagahannons with disabilities can independently and meaningfully participate in the city’s civic and economic growth.
