After a Holy Mass at the Metropolitan Cathedral (slated for 1:00 PM today Sept. 14) contingents from different schools will commence on a specified route to the Plaza Quezon for another edition of the most colorful and awe-inspiring Peñafrancia Pilgrim Streetdance Competition which will culminate at the Plaza Quezon. The now-iconic spectacle was developed by the Development Institute for Bicolano Artists (DIBA) Foundation, headed by Mrs. Amelita Zaens, years ago to rival other regional street dance festivals, and as a tribute to the profound and passionate devotion of Bicolanos to the Our Lady of Peñafrancia and Divino Rostro.
