To protect and ensure consumers’ welfare in the City of Naga, all instruments of weights and measures for consumer-related transactions shall be checked, tested, and sealed every six months.

• Present a weighing scale for testing. This will be checked and tested against the secondary standards of NCPM. If the results are ok, you will be issued a sticker to be attached to the weighing scale after payment of the necessary fees.
  
• A team from MEPO will also conduct an inspection of measuring instruments used in businesses in Naga City. Inspections are done in February and July of each year.
