Citizen’s Guide to Availing Cooperative Development Center Services
What Is This Service?
The Cooperative Development Center (CDC) under Metro PESO Naga assists registered cooperatives in Naga City in obtaining official accreditation from the Sangguniang Panlungsod. Once accredited, cooperatives can access city government support, including the use of CDC facilities, equipment, and staff assistance—all at no charge.
Who Can Apply?
✅ Any cooperative operating in Naga City
✅ Must be registered with a recognized agency (e.g., SEC, DOLE, DSWD, or other NGOs)
✅ Must have been active in Naga City for at least one year
Required Documents
Prepare a folder containing the following:
Basic Cooperative Information
- Name and address of the cooperative
- Names of officers and number of members
- Date of latest general assembly
- List of past year’s activities
- List of planned activities for the current year
Legal and Financial Documents
- Certificate of Registration (SEC, DOLE, DSWD, or other accrediting body)
- Constitution, by-laws, and/or articles of incorporation
- Financial statement (including assets and liabilities)
- Board resolution or letter of intent to seek accreditation
Naga-Specific Requirements (Ordinance No. 2009-025)
- Proof of operation in Naga City for at least one year
- Documentation of development-oriented activities
- Program of activities for the upcoming year
- List of officers and members in good standing
- Board resolution expressing intent to participate under the ordinance
