If you or your family find yourselves in crisis situations, help can be sought from the CSWDO. Stranded and have no funds to go home? Need additional funds to pay for hospital bills? Short of money to pay for tuition fees? Individuals and families in extremely difficult circumstances can approach the City Social Welfare and Development Office for help.

If you’re facing a crisis—whether it’s medical, financial, or emotional—the CSWDO is here to help. Assistance is available for:

⚰️ Burial Assistance

For immediate family members of the deceased.

🍱 Food & Transportation

For those who are:

  • Stranded or in conflict situations
  • Victims of theft
  • Traveling for medical treatment (up to 2 people if patient needs support)
  • Visiting or retrieving a deceased relative

💊 Medical Assistance

Includes:

  • Medicines not available in city health facilities
  • Lab tests and medical procedures
  • Help with costly hospital bills

🏚️ Emergency Shelter

For victims of fire, demolition, or typhoon.

🎓 Educational Assistance

For indigent students who can’t afford full school expenses.
