Summary: This ordinance amends Ordinance No. 97-114, known as the 1997 Investment Incentives Code of the City of Naga. The amendments include:
  • Extension of Incentives: A new Section 35 is added, allowing the Naga City Investment Board, with a three-fourths vote, to recommend to the Sangguniang Panlungsod an extension of incentives for specific priority investment areas. Such extensions cannot exceed seven (7) years from the date of approval.
  • Implementing Rules and Regulations: Section 57 is amended and renumbered to Section 58. This section mandates the Naga City Investment Board to issue implementing guidelines for specific provisions of the code, as needed, with the approval of the Sangguniang Panlungsod.
