AN ORDINANCE PROHIBITING THE DRAINAGE OF AIR CONDITIONERS ONTO PUBLIC SIDEWALKS, STREETS AND OTHER PUBLIC PASSAGEWAYS AND PLACES AND THE DISCHARGE OF EXHAUST INTO CORRIDORS, HALLWAYS, ARCADES OR SIDEWALKS WITHIN THE CITY OF NAGA AND PRESCRIBING PENALTIES FOR VIOLATIONS THEREOF

Summary: This ordinance bans draining water or discharging exhaust from air conditioning units onto public sidewalks, streets, corridors, or hallways in Naga City to prevent hazards and maintain cleanliness. Building owners and occupants are both liable. Violations can lead to fines (₱1,000–₱5,000), impounding of units, and possible business permit revocation for repeat offenders. The City Engineer enforces the ordinance, which took effect 90 days after publication.
