Summary: This ordinance amends Article XVIII, Section 134 and Paragraph (6) of Naga City’s “The Transport and Traffic Code” (Ordinance No. 93-049). The amendment formally recognizes and adds SIDPODA (with a limit of 25 units) and the Gimenez Padyak & Drivers Association (with a limit of 20 units) to the list of recognized padyak (pedicab) associations. It reiterates that each registered padyak for hire is limited to plying a specific route area, identifiable by the color of their plate numbers. The ordinance took effect upon its approval.
