Summary of Resolution No. 2025-195:

The resolution formally requests the Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) to include Naga City as an official testing site for the Criminology Licensure Examination (CLE) scheduled for August 1–3, 2025. It highlights several key points:

• Rising number of criminology graduates from Camarines provinces due to local colleges producing quality professionals and topnotchers.
• Many examinees face financial and logistical challenges traveling to Legazpi City, the current designated site in Bicol.
• Naga College Foundation (NCF), a reputable institution in the region, has previously hosted the exam and is willing to provide its facilities again.

The resolution, sponsored by Hon. Jose B. Perez and co-authored by Hon. Melvin Ramon G. Buenafe, aims to ease the burden on aspiring criminologists, particularly those from economically challenged families, and improve accessibility to licensure.

It was unanimously approved on May 6, 2025, and copies were forwarded to the PRC, City Mayor, and NCF for endorsement and action.
