AN ORDINANCE SUSPENDING ORDINANCE NO. 2000-046, ENTITLED: “AN ORDINANCE ESTABLISHING GUIDELINES IN THE USE OF PUBLIC PLACE AND SPACES IN THE CITY OF NAGA FOR PURPOSES OF VENDING ALL KINDS OF ARTICLES AND COMMODITIES DURING THE PEÑAFRANCIA FESTIVITIES” SPECIFICALLY SECTION 6 THEREOF, AS AMENDED BY ORDINANCE NO. 97-058, ORDINANCE NO. 98-087 AND ORDINANCE NO. 98-089, FOR YEAR 2004 ONLY, AND ADDING THE BALATAS ROAD AS AMONG THE PROHIBITED AREAS

Summary: This ordinance temporarily suspends Section 6 of Ordinance No. 2000-046 for the year 2004 only. Ordinance No. 2000-046 originally established guidelines for vending various articles and commodities in public places and spaces within Naga City during the Peñafrancia Festivities. Additionally, Ordinance No. 2004-088 designates Balatas Road as another area where vending is prohibited during the festival. The ordinance became effective upon its approval and after three consecutive publications in a local newspaper of general circulation.
