AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. 2004-011, ENTITLED: “AN ORDINANCE IMPLEMENTING THE TABANG PANG-NEGOSYO, HALE SA GOBYERNO (LIVELIHOOD FINANCIAL GRANT FOR THE URBAN INFORMAL SECTOR) AND FURTHER APPROPRIATING THE AMOUNT OF ONE MILLION (P1,000,000.00) PESOS FOR THE PURPOSE, CHARGEABLE AGAINST THE 2003 SURPLUS”, BY CHANGING ITS INTENT AS LIVELIHOOD FINANCIAL LOAN AND BY DELETING THE UNIFORM AMOUNT OF P500.00 AND THE REQUIREMENT FOR PICTURE OF THE APPLICANT AS SPECIFIED UNDER SECTION 3 THEREOF

Summary: This ordinance amends City Ordinance No. 2004-011 by changing the “Livelihood Financial Grant” for the urban informal sector into a livelihood financial loan. It removes the fixed ₱500 amount and the photo requirement. The loan is meant for buying small equipment or materials for small businesses, with grantees encouraged to add their own counterpart funds. Applicants must submit a simple form with a barangay clearance or business permit. The ordinance took effect upon approval.
