Summary: Ordinance No. 2003-045, known as the “Women Development Code of Naga City” , is a comprehensive piece of legislation aimed at promoting, protecting, and upholding the rights and dignity of women in Naga City. It mandates the implementation of a comprehensive and sustainable women development program and establishes the necessary mechanisms and funding for its execution. The code addresses various aspects of women’s lives, from health and education to economic opportunities and protection from all forms of violence and discrimination
