Summary: This ordinance establishes the “Naga City Council for Culture and the Arts,” envisioned as the local counterpart to the National Commission for Culture and the Arts. Its primary purpose is to formulate and implement policies for cultural and artistic development at the city level, encourage artistic creation within a climate of freedom, promote Filipino national culture and arts, and preserve Filipino cultural heritage.
