AN ORDINANCE DECLARING THE PERIOD FROM JUNE 27 TO JULY 3, 1999 AND EVERY YEAR THEREAFTER AS “ENVIRONMENT WEEK” IN THE CITY OF NAGA, AND FURTHER APPROPRIATING NECESSARY FUND FOR THIS PURPOSE TO COVER THE WEEK LONG ACTIVITIES, CHARGEABLE AGAINST ANY AVAILABLE FUND

Summary: This ordinance declares the period from June 27 to July 3, starting in 1999 and annually thereafter, as “Environment Week” in Naga City. It also allocates funds for the week-long activities dedicated to environmental protection and preservation. The “Ladies in Green” and the City Environment & Natural Resources Office are tasked with coordinating with the city’s Barangay Captains to develop a comprehensive program for this observance. The ordinance became effective upon its approval.
