AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTION 3 OF ORDINANCE NO. 98-086, ENTITLED: “AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING THE LEASE AND PRESCRIBING THE RENTAL RATES IN CERTAIN AREAS OF THE NAGA CITY PUBLIC MARKET DURING THE DURATION OF THE PEÑAFRANCIA FESTIVITIES FROM SEPTEMBER 1 TO OCTOBER 15, 1998 AND EVERY YEAR THEREAFTER”, BY ADDING A PHRASE IN THE FINAL PROVISION

Summary: This ordinance amends Section 3 of Ordinance No. 98-086, which governs the lease and rental rates of areas within the Naga City Public Market during the Peñafrancia Festivities. The amendment specifically modifies the rule regarding the number of stalls an applicant can lease. While the general rule remains “no award shall be made in excess of one (1) stall per applicant,” it adds an exception: “the third floor shall be opened to all who may lease even unlimited number of stalls”. The ordinance took effect upon its approval.
