Summary/Additional Info:
Summary: This ordinance amends Naga City’s Contractors and Paquiao Contractors Accreditation Ordinance (No. 94-008) by strictly prohibiting unaccredited contractors and “Paquiao” contractors from joining city infrastructure project bids or contracts beyond their accreditation limits, rendering such contracts void. It expands the City Accreditation Committee to include more city officials and contractors’ representatives and sets detailed accreditation requirements based on project costs for both small-scale and large-scale contractors, covering licenses, permits, financial standing, and experience. All contractors must re-accredit by January 31, 1996, and yearly thereafter, or risk cancellation; dual accreditation in different categories is disallowed. The ordinance took effect upon approval.
