Summary: This ordinance establishes the “USWAG KABUHAYAN SA BARANGAY” (USWAG) Livelihood Assistance Program, designed to promote self-employment among residents in barangays. An initial fund of Three Hundred Thousand (P300,000.00) Pesos is allocated from the Calendar Year 1992 Surplus Fund to support this program. A Trust Fund has also been created to manage a roll-over scheme for repayments. The ordinance became effective upon its approval.
