Summary/Additional Info:
Summary: This ordinance regulates and penalizes actions related to concrete pavements undergoing curing in Naga City. The curing period is set at 28 days, unless certified otherwise by the City Engineer. Contractors are responsible for placing and maintaining roadblocks and signboards at both ends of the new pavement, indicating the pouring date and the opening date for regular traffic. Barangay Captains are tasked with ensuring these roadblocks are maintained throughout the curing period and should not accept projects without proper roadblocks and signboards. The ordinance prohibits the removal of roadblocks/signboards or any coverings placed by the contractor , and driving or bringing any vehicle onto a pavement during its curing period. Light vehicles may be allowed after two weeks of curing, provided drivers reset the roadblocks.
