Summary: This ordinance, known as the “Alay Lakad Ordinance of the City of Naga,” designates the first Sunday of October each year as “Alay Lakad Day” in Naga City. The observance includes government employees, non-government organizations, civic and religious groups, and students from all city schools and universities. An “Alay Lakad Committee” is established to oversee the event, chaired by the City Mayor and co-chaired by the City Vice-Mayor, with members from various city departments and organizations. The ordinance became effective upon its approval.
