AN ORDINANCE REQUIRING ALL HEADS OF HOUSEHOLDS AND OWNERS OF ESTABLISHING/TRANSIENTS WITHIN THE TERRITORIAL JURISDICTION OF THE CITY OF NAGA TO REGISTER THEMSELVES AND MEMBERS OF THEIR RESPECTIVE HOUSEHOLDS/ESTABLISHMENT WITH THE OFFICE OF THE BARANGAY CAPTAIN OF THE BARANGAY WHERE THEY ARE PERMANENTLY OR TEMPORARILY RESIDING AND PRESCRIBING PENALIZED FOR VIOLATIONS THEREOF AND APPROPRIATING THE AMOUNT OF ONE HUNDRED THOUSAND (P100,000.00) PESOS FOR THE PURPOSE

Summary: This ordinance, officially known as the “Multi-Purpose Citywide Survey Ordinance of 1992,” mandates all heads of households, establishment owners, and transients (residing for 2 to 6 months) within Naga City to register themselves and their members with their respective Barangay Captain’s Office. The primary goal is to establish a regularly updated socio-economic profile of each barangay, which will serve as a reliable basis for issuing clearances and residency certificates, and for the efficient and equitable distribution of government aid during calamities.
