Summary: This ordinance regulates the use of public parks, plazas, monuments, and other public properties in Naga City, aiming to preserve them for ornament and recreation. Public plazas and parks are to remain clear for public use, with activities like meetings, games, sports, or exercises requiring a permit from the City Mayor. The ordinance strictly prohibits the operation of sari-sari stores, eateries, cafeterias, and bars within these public spaces, as well as the construction of booths or structures for selling goods (except for approved exhibits of local products). It also forbids the placement of objects, posters, signboards, or decorations on monuments and other structures within parks and plazas. Furthermore, destroying plants, trees, ornaments, or committing any form of vandalism that impacts the landscaping and beautification of these areas is prohibited. Existing unauthorized structures must be removed.
