AN ORDINANCE IMPOSING AN ANNUAL MAYOR’S PERMIT FEE ON ALL DELIVERY TRUCKS OR VANS WHOSE FACTORIES OR WAREHOUSES ARE SITUATED OUTSIDE THE JURISDICTION OF NAGA CITY BUT PLYING OR ENTERING NAGA CITY AS ALLOWED UNDER ORDINANCE 88-048 AND PROVIDING PENALTIES THEREOF FOR NON-COMPLIANCE

Summary: This ordinance imposes an annual Mayor’s Permit Fee on all delivery trucks or vans that have their factories or warehouses outside the jurisdiction of Naga City but operate or enter Naga City to ply their trades/products. The fees are structured based on the number of wheels: P1,000.00 per annum for ten (10) wheelers or more, P750.00 per annum for six (6) wheelers, and P500.00 per annum for four (4) wheelers. Non-compliance or failure to obtain the Mayor’s Permit will result in a fine of P200.00, imprisonment for up to fifteen (15) days, or both, at the court’s discretion. The ordinance takes effect upon its approval.
