Summary: This ordinance amends Ordinance No. 89-095, Series of 1989, which provides guidelines for the establishment, operation, and maintenance of nightclubs, cabarets, bars, discos, and other similar venues in Naga City. The key changes include the deletion of Section 4 from the original ordinance and an amendment to the second paragraph of Section 9. The revised Section 9 allows for appeals of a Mayor’s Permit revocation to the Sangguniang Panlungsod, whose decision can be final if supported by a two-thirds (2/3) vote of all its members. Consequently, the numbering of the subsequent sections in Ordinance No. 89-095 has been adjusted. The ordinance became effective upon its approval.
