AN ORDINANCE FURTHER AMENDING CERTAIN SECTIONS OF ORDINANCE NO. 965, S. 1984 AS SMENDED BY ORDINANCE NO. 88-042, S. 1988 AUTHORIZING THE USE AND OCCUPANCY OF CERTAIN OPEN SPACES AT THE NAGA CITY PUBLIC MARKET AND PRESCRIBING RENTALS THEREON DURING THE DURATION OF THE CITY CHARTER ANNIVERSARY AND THE HOLIDAY SEASONS FROM DECEMBER 6, 1984 TO JANUARY 6, 1985 AND EVERY YEAR THEREAFTER
Summary: This ordinance amends earlier regulations on the use of open spaces at the Naga City Public Market, allowing designated areas along General Luna Street, Jaime Hernandez Avenue, and Zamora Street to be used annually from December 6 to January 6 for the City Charter Anniversary and Holiday Season. It sets specific one-month rental rates for these spaces, covering various permits and fees, and limits the goods sold to Christmas-related items like gifts, ornaments, toys, fruits, and synthetic Christmas trees. The sale of unrelated items is prohibited, and the Market Awards Committee handles the awarding of spaces, mainly through a lot-drawing system. The ordinance took effect upon approval.
