AN ORDINANCE RENAMING THE CITY HALL AVENUE OF NAGA CITY TO COL. JUAN Q. MIRANDA AVENUE AND/OR J.Q. MIRANDA AVENUE, IN HONOR OF THE LATE CONGRESSMAN AND GUERILLA LEADER COL. JUAN Q. MIRANDA, WHO WAS LIKEWISE CONSIDERED AS THE FATHER OF THE CHARTER OF THE CITY OF NAGA

Summary/Additional Info:
This ordinance formally renames the City Hall Avenue in Naga City to “Col. Juan Q. Miranda Avenue” or “J.Q. Miranda Avenue”. This change is made in honor of the late Congressman and guerilla leader, Col. Juan Q. Miranda, who is recognized as the “Father of the Charter of the City of Naga”. The ordinance repeals or modifies any conflicting ordinances and resolutions and took effect upon its approval.
