The Naga City Government feted over 600 local athletes for their outstanding performance during the recently concluded Modified Palarong Bicol.
Naga athletes were recognized during the Mayoral Recognition and Awarding Ceremony held on May 19, 2023, at the City Hall Grounds. Each athlete was individually recognized on stage along with their coaches, trainers, chaperones, and proud parents. Incentives promised by the local government, led by Mayor Son Legacion, were also distributed during the ceremony.
The city officials attending the event included Acting City Vice Mayor Doc Jess Albeus, City Administrator Elmer Baldemoro, ESSO Acting Head & PDAO Head Atty. PJ Barrosa, and the Naga City Division of City Schools represented by Dr. Susan S. Collano, CESO VI.
Naga City was named the overall champion with a total of 76 gold, 58 silver, and 69 bronze medals won.
