Kinalas Circuit

One of the World's Worst Food?

Sometime recently, Naga City’s very own favorite comfort food was tagged one of the World’s Worst Dishes by Taste Atlas, an online something based in Bulgaria.

But what is Kinalas? How did it originate? What’s all the fuss?

There’s a lot we’d like to tell you. Meanwhile, head on to any or all of the kinalas outlets we’ve listed for you.  If you are a noob to the kinalas world, you’re on to an adventure sure to titillate your taste buds.

If you’ve been away for some time, it will be a trip back in time. If you’re a regular, our selection of hot kinalas joints, picked from among the popular bunch, will not disappoint.

Like most of your favorite chow, it is not just about the ingredients. It is about the experience.  It’s how it connects with you.

So do try to find a table at one of these joints. Do it with your friends, a loved one, or, if you prefer, come alone. Sit in rapture before a humble, filling, comforting dish. Take a deep breath. Savor the soup. Eat, Remember, Linger.

And remember to take out your phone and show your Naga Perks card.  The discounts don’t really matter. You’d eat there anyway but it’s nice to feel special every now and then.

Taste Atlas? Anong aram mo sa masiram na kakanon? Whatever you say, the true Nagueño will be eating Kinalas today.

Despite their location and the adversities faced by their business especially during the pandemic, Didick’s is still a favorite and frequented by Nagueños for their kinalas.
