Conducts committee hearings on matters referred to it by the Sangguniang Panlungsod and recommends action thereon;
Formulates rules and regulations on matters pertaining to and in relation with the conducts of investigation of complaints and charges of disorderly conducts affecting the Sangguniang Panlungsod and its members;
Formulates rules and procedures in the conduct of hearings and recommends decision on complaints filed against barangay officials pursuant to the provisions of RA 7160;
Investigates complaints and charges against employees of the LGU in aid of legislation. Reports and recommendations on these investigations shall be submitted to the Sangguniang Panlungsod in the form of a proposed resolution or ordinance;
Studies and recommends policies and procedures for proper, judicious and effective implementation of Rules which will discourage, minimize and eradicate Graft and Corruption, abuse of authority and inefficiency in government service;
Performs such other functions as the Sanggunian may adopt.
